Cleaning off the camera

So I was cleaning some things off my camera this week and I came across pictures from the end of last school year and the summer!  I'm just a little bit behind!!
Cael & Stanley

Cael playing with his slide from Aunt Jackie when Mommy put it together.  Yep, you heard me!  MOMMY put it together!!

So cute with green beans & cheese sauce all over his head and then......

THIS happened.  I mean, really!  What would YOU do with biscuit roll-ups?

He loved playing in his sand box.  The boy is now 17 months and he STILL crosses his feet when he sits.  I think he must have had them crossed in the womb!

I'm the kind of the world!!!!
(Or at least the king of the Marsh house!)

Mr. Boy leaves us tomorrow night to head to D.C. to spend Thanksgiving with his Cool Aunt Joy.  I got him COMPLETELY packed yesterday!  It took me forever but I think I got everything....I'm sure I got way too much in fact.  Ya never know when he might have a blow out or have a messy meal, right?!  We will take tons of pictures & videos to show you all I'm sure!

Fun with the neighbors!

Today we had a day off for Veteran's Day.  Courtney spent the morning getting the van cleaned up & doing some maintenance on it before its big trip next week.  I was trying to clean but Cael makes that very difficult some times....okay most of the time!  It took me 2 hours to get the dishes done because of Mr. Boy.  After that I decided we would just go outside & play for a while.  The neighbors were outside & they love Cael!  He went right over to the fence & wanted to go in their yard.  He decided he needed to help them do some work around the house by digging and he had to help with yardwork.  So helpful!  We spent a long time outside & then it got pretty cold.  We went inside & had lunch and then he went to sleep for over 3 hours!!!  I had to wake him up or he won't sleep tonight!  I hope he sleeps tonight!  We have work tomorrow, Courtney has kids & I just have inservice, and then Saturday Cael has a haircut (well, trim) and we're going to mom & dad's for lunch with Aunt Sandi.  Sunday Courtney is going to the opera with Clamurro but I am staying home with Cael.  He leaves next Friday to drive to D.C. with mom & dad and I want to spend his last weekend before the trip with him.  They leave on Friday & will get to D.C. sometime Sunday then Courtney & I will fly out on Tuesday evening.  Cael's going to fly home with us the following Sunday.  I am going to miss him so much!!!  That will be the longest I've been away from him AND the farthest away he's ever been from me.  Courtney's done it before when he went to wrestling camp but I haven't.  Hopefully it will go fast!

On a side note: Hollyn Dill will make her arrival tomorrow morning!!!  I will be anxiously waiting for a picture message!!!!  I can't wait to see if she will have bright red hair like Hattie!  I will post a picture when I get one!  Good luck, Kate!  We love you guys & miss you!!

Tough Guy!

Mr. Boy has had a rough last couple of weeks.  He has fallen & cut his head, fallen at the bottom of the slide & scraped up his forehead, nose, cheek & chin, fallen & smacked his head on the floor getting a bruise between the eyes AND gotten in to his first fist fight with Jack at daycare.  Watch out when you have a Cars cup around Cael....he'll fight you for it!!  Jack brought a Cars cup to daycare & Cael decided to drink from it.  Jack was fine with it at first and then he had it.  He took his cup back and Cael didn't like it.  Tracy heard screaming.  She found Cael on top of Jack smacking him in the face and Jack smacking him back.  She pulled them apart but Cael still wanted that damn cup!!  He smacked the cup out of Jack's hand & tried to run to get it.  Oh my!  That boy is crazy!  I guess he's ready for wrestling season!  :)

Cross Country comes to an end and our little R2D2

We survived Courtney's first year of coaching cross country!  Mommy wasn't always very good with it....okay I'll be honest I hated it!  But if he decides to do it next year I will be more prepared and I will enjoy it more.  We had state in Wamego on Saturday.  Courtney & I were up at 4:00 Saturday morning to leave at 5:30.  Cael go to sleep on Mommy on the way there (ssshhhh!!!  Don't tell!) and woke up as Daddy was ordering McDonalds for breakfast of course!  Courtney's boy got 33rd and his girl got 7th.  There were some insanely fast runners there!  Here's a pic of Cael's Uncle Pineau, Daniel & I think her name is Jennifer playing in the dirt.
Cael loves to drink out of our big cups from the hospital.  He was fussing on the way home so I gave him my cup to get him quiet.  It's such a big cup for such a little boy!

On Sunday we went "trick or treating" at our neighbor's house.  Cael tried to make a break for it out Max's doggy door!  He couldn't quite fit but I'm sure that won't stop him from trying again.
We went over to Mrs. Tracy's to show off little R2D2.  He was going to be Handy Manny but Courtney & I saw this costume and had to buy it.  Since he was Yoda last year it only seemed fitting for him to keep up with the Star Wars costumes.  Who knows what he'll be next year!!  Cael had a blast playing in the leaves.

I love this picture!!  I love how the leaf was right by his face!
Yes he does sort of look like a girl in a clown dress once his hat was off but oh well - he's still freaking adorable!!!

Daddy caught him running around so we could go home.  He had a great day!
